Hi! Happy Friday!! This weekend, Ava and I are having a girls weekend! Not sure what we are doing, but I am pretty sure it will include movies and Murder, She Wrote. Hubby bought me the entire series on DVD and I am in heaven. It is truly my favorite show ever! 

Today's card uses this weeks Colour Q colors...

I immediately thought of a baby boy card. I did, however, have a hard time incorporating the gray....of course, that's why it's called a challenge, right? :)

Here is my card: 

If you cannot tell, the basic gray is behind the white panel. The button is also basic gray. :)  This was a fun little card to make...now just to find a pregnant friend!

Good day everyone! I am so enjoying stamping again. You know how sometimes you just have to take a break from things? That's how I felt for a while. Something told me not to sell all of my stuff, though...lol

So, anyway today I am playing along with Papertreyink's Make it Monday challenge. The challenge was to "create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and one of the rainbow color schemes illustrated above along with a repeated die-cut or stamped image". I decided to use this rainbow:

Simply Fabulous

Hey ladies! Thanks for stopping by. I'm so excited for this card.  I just love the way it turned out..just like I pictured in my head.  Don't you love when that happens? 

I am playing along with a challenge that I've not ever played. It's called Retro Sketches. This weeks sketch  is just adorable and its from a card that Kasia made last year.  Here is the sketch:

Happy Monday everyone! Did you have a great weekend? Mine consisted of a wee bit of partying a people watching followed up with a late night trip to Waffle House...yum. 

Today I am playing along with the ladies over at Colour Q. The challenge was to pick any f the designers chose as their favorite and create a card with it. Of course I went for the more subtle colors and chose Silke's favorite:

I decided to make a little missing you card. I love love love the 'U' from the Verve set "You & I". It's really a fun set and I love the die cuts that go along with it.

Birthday Throwdown

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you're having an awesome weekend. Today I decided to play along with old friends over at Color Throwdown.

 My husbands grandmother has a birthday this weekend, so I made this card for her. I really loved the color scheme for this week..so here it is...

The colors felt masculine, but I think I managed to bring a little feminie flair to it. I just love the musical background stamp and those flowers are just so easy to make....ok well maybe with a little practice. :)

Hello, friends...

Hey guys! Happy New Year!!!! Well, I'm here again with a new card for the CR84FN color challenge.

         

 I was really stumped by these colors are first.  I could not wrap my head around the lavender and raspberry! The neutral, I had no problem with...lol.

So, here is what I made: 

Just a simple little card! Love those flowers, but I can't remember where I got them. Anyone have a clue? Two Peas? Can't remember...

Anyway, I thought I would create a card saying "hello, friend" to all of you. Thanks for sticking with my blog since my little sabbatical. I am back now and hope to bring some great cards your way this year.

Pink Christmas!

Hi everyone! Well, it's been over 10 months since I posted. Sooo much has happened in that amount of time, but I won't bore you with all of the details.  Just know that I am really happy.  I have not stamped one thing since February.  The only reason I have gone into the craft room in that amount of time is to iron. :(  Yesterday, though, my daughter asked if I would make cards for her teachers...grrr...I did not want to, but I did. It was actually fun again! Life sometimes gets in the way of fun things and they hit the backburner, right? Well, that's what happened to me. I THINK I am back....but we will start slowly. :)

Anyway, here is one of the cards I created. I uploaded four of them on Facebook, but this one is my favorite. I hope you guys are all having a nice week. See you soon!
