Happy 4th of July! I love holidays, but they're just really not the same when Hubby isn't here, ya know? They just don't feel as festive..but I guess all military families and others (Policemen, Firemen, etc) deal with that, so i'll shut it. :)
Today, I have a card that I entered into the Gallery Idol competition (yep, two cards are entered when 2 days ago I couldn't even get one cranked out). It has absolutely nothing to do with the 4th of July, but I suspect you've seen quite a lot of those so i'll do something different. Never mind the fact that I had no real 4th of July themed stamps or paper..lol.
So, here is my sweet baby girl card:
I just love this Cuttlebug folder. I've had it for a long while and don't use it nearly enough. It's just perfect for smaller baby items or, as I did here, masking off parts of a set to create a little scene. I just love this stork from Papertrey especially since it can carry that sweet little pumpkin! How cute is that little one in there?? I decided to give some texture to the blanket by just using my Square Lattice folder from Stampin Up. It was a pretty simple card to make, but I like it. :)
