be whoever you want to be...

Hey there. I have a card for this week's Colour Q challenge #254. The colors are so vibrant, and I immediately thought of this old Market Street stamp set that I loved. I'm pretty sure they're out of business now (since I cannot find a website - but let me know if I am wrong). So, here is the card I made:

And here are the colors for this week.

Thanks for stopping in. Check out the challenge and play along! Their is always a lot of inspiration!

Birthday Throwdown

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you're having an awesome weekend. Today I decided to play along with old friends over at Color Throwdown.

My husbands grandmother has a birthday this weekend, so I made this card for her. I really loved the color scheme for this week..so here it is...

The colors felt masculine, but I think I managed to bring a little feminie flair to it. I just love the musical background stamp and those flowers are just so easy to make....ok well maybe with a little practice. :)

Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back soon. :)

birthday cake..

Monday, again? Really? Great..

Well, I DO have a card to share so that's something, right? :)

This was made using my new Market Street Stamp set called Celebrate Cake. I used this month's Paint The Town Challenge over on the Market Street Stamps Blog. Here are the colors for October:

Stop by and check out what their designers have come up with and then play along. It's a great color combo!

Hope you have a great day today! Thanks for stopping in!

hello, friend

Hey there! Happy Sunday. I hope you've had a great weekend.

Today, I have my card for this weeks Colour Q challenge. I finally read the directions and made a card for the challenge...lol. Don't you hate when you do something without reading through and you mess it up? Argh, that's SO annoying.

The first part of the challenge this week was to use the color combo, seen here:

The second part was to pick a previous Colour Queen and CASE their card. This was a not so simple task because there were some outstanding cards from which to choose. I finally decided on this CAS beauty by Jocelyn:

I thought it was so beautiful!

Here is MY card:

Hope you like it. Im really learning to love my Papertrey Bloom Builders die! Not sure if you can tell, but I stamped the Bit of Burlap background from Market Street Stamps in Versamark on the white card stock. It gives it a little weight and I like that. Have a great day!

what we need..

Hey there! Ahh, It's the weekend again AND its World Card Making Day! This is my first time participating in any way, and my hope is that I'll get a few things done today and post a few times. Of course, the best laid plans and all..lol.

I  used the current sketch from the Market Street Stamps sketch:

I LOVE this sketch. It can be used for SO many occasions. Well, here is my card:

I also used this week's Colour Q colors, BUT since I was obviously too busy to actually READ the directions, I can't enter it. I'll have to create something else with these fabulous colors and try again! LOL

Ok..well, thanks for stopping by. If this is your first time, welcome! If not, thanks for stopping in.  Be sure and check out the other blogs on the WCMD blog hop! Have a great day! Don't forget to get something stamped! :)

be free....

Hey guys..thanks for stopping by! Today, I have a card that uses the Market Street Stamps Paint the Town Color Challenge. I just love the colors.

I love the bouquet in the inspiration picture, but decided to use my new Market Street set called Hippie Chic again. The images are so adorable and I really liked the sentiment (you know how I am about sentiments!) with this. Here is my card:

Is that guitar not the cutest? I really like this set. I have GOT to get more of their stamps. They're really great quality and, quite frankly, I also like the way they smell. :)

Anywho, thanks for stopping in!! Have a great rest of the day!

peace..

Happy Monday, guys! Thank you for stopping in. I am using more of my Market Street Stamps today. I just cannot get enough of them. Today's set is called Hippie Chic and it's adorable.

I am also using this week's Card Pattern sketch, seen here:

I really like this sketch. There are so many ways you could go with this. I decided to keep it fairly simple. Here is my card:

Well, that's it for today. Stop in over at Card Patterns and play along!

thoughts..

FINALLY....finally my mojo is back and life has settled down enough to stamp again. My husband is home and reintegration has been...difficult. I guess the older your children are, the harder it is for things to get back to normal. Ugh..

Anyway, I am back and have been stamping all morning! Yay! Today, I have a card for this week's Colour Q! Here are the colors for this week:

Neat colors, huh? Orchid Opulence was always one of my favorite SU colors. I decided to use one of my new Market Street Stamps that arrived a little over a week ago. It's called Comforting Florals and I absolutely adore the image of this vase and flower combo. Here is my card:

I added Crystal Effects to mimic water...in person, it's really cool. Well, I better get back to the family. Thanks for stopping in!!
