Today's card is for two challenges. The Curtain Call color challenge and the Moxie Fab World Challenge "Diggin' on Damask". In the Moxie Fab challenge, we were to incorporate Damask into our project somehow. I used patterned paper to bring in my damask (am I the only person who loves saying that word?). The Curtain Call challenge was to use these colors:
Here is my card for these challenges:
I must say that I absolutely LOVE these blossom nesties. They are just so dang cute, no? I'm also finally learning to shade these things! I've had the hardest time..it's definitely a learning curve. Some folks make it look SO easy!
Well, that's it for me today. I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday! Laters...
Oh, one more thing.... did you see that I was a favorite this week on the Color Throwdown blog? Ack! I was so excited to see my name up there. :)

Beautiful! The Life set is the perfect touch! I have it, but never can seem to put it to good use! Great job!
This is lovely, the colors are so warm and inviting. Love your story as well and sharing time with Ava.
Keva this is BEAUTIFUL!! I LOVE everything about it.. and a BIG CONGRATS on being a favorite! That is soo COOL!!
Hope you have a GREAT day!
Way to go !!!
THis card is gorgeous, how do you get your sponging so perfect ! And love the way the button mimics the nestie shape....
Wonderful use of colors Keva! Love your card! Thanks for playing with us at the Curtain Call!
Love the colors and the background paper is gorgeous. You're right I too am learning how to sponge. You did a great job. Beautiful card.
You did a fantastic job of using these colors! I like those Nesties.....haven't broke down yet and bought these! Lol. You need to give the Twinery a try......you will love their twine! Jen recommended them to me and am so glad she did! Congrats again on color throwdown!! Yay!
What a gorgeous card! Love those Autumn colors and the background stamp and the sentiment. Great job on this one.
I don't get to stamp every day -- wish I could -- once or twice a week is about all I can squeeze in. I've taken lately to stamping an extra image or two when I do have time to break out the stamps, then I color in little snatches over the week when I have time. Coloring is the most relaxing part for me.
Very pretty! Love how the button & blossoms are the same shape- and GREAT job with the shading!!! That's something I rarely do!
I, too, LOVE saying Damask!!! Your paper is so pretty and your shading is FAB. Haven't gotten that down yet! LOVE the flower button, too!
Love this card!! Those nesties are wonderful!! You did a great job sponging"-- I still don't get it right!!!
Keva, this is a gorgeous interpretation of the Cutain Colors!!! The Psalm is wonderful!!! Thanks for joining us!!! Hugs ~S~
