Wish Big!

Edited to Add: My card won over at Off the Wall Craftiness! Yay..thank you, Kim!

Hello everyone! Hope you've been having a good week. Mine has been okay. My grandmother is still in the hospital, and she got a tracheotomy on Monday, but they still expect her to recover which is awesome news!

For todays card, I decided to go with the sketch from Mercy Kerin and combined it with the colors from the Off the Wall Craftiness challenge. Here is Mercy's sketch:

And here is the OTWC challenge pic and colors:

Such fun colors! I SO want a jacket with those colors in a plaid pattern right now..lol. I decided to not go with a wedding card because I really thought the fluorish with star combo that I have used before would be perfect here. I also got my Timeless Textures stamp from Skipping Stones Designs this week, so I was ready to use one of the images.  Here is my card:

I love the way the Timeless Textures background peeks out from behind the small panels. I will definitely be using this set a lot.

That's it from me. Tomorrow, i'll be showing the last of the 5 Verve Release week challenges card. It's a sweet little thing inspired by one of the new sets coming out tomorrow! Fun. If you still haven't participated in the Verve Release week challenge sketches, there is still time. You have to have the cards in tomorrow night! Laters!

Stamps: Star Prints, Fancy Fluorishes (papertrey); Timeless Textures (Skipping Stones)
Card Stock: Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Elegant Soiree dsp (stampin up);Vintage Vanilla (papertrey)
Ink: Choclate Chip, Baja Breeze (stampin up)
Extras: Star Punch, corner rounder
