Hello, Color Throwdown!

Hi there! Today I am doing some serious OCD cleaning of the house. We are having our entire SS class over after church tomorrow for a Fall Party. It's part get together/ part farewell to my hubby who leaves in a few weeks. It should be fun, but I am a TOTAL nut when it comes to clean especially when people come over. There is just no such thing as clean enough. I am hoping the family will leave and just let me do what I do cause I WILL get on their nerves before too long..lol.

Anyway, you didn't come here to hear about my craziness..lol. Today I am participating again in the Color Throwdown. I had trouble with these colors at first, but then this idea to use it in scalloped layers. Fun! So here are the colors for this week:

And here is my card:

I had a time coloring those individual letters and getting them to stamp evenly. There must be a trick to that! Anyway, in the package I rec'd from MFT earlier in the week was also the Polka Dot Greetings die & stamp set duo. Such a fun little set. I love all of the polka dot options you have when using this set. The little "hello" is from Michael's dollar bin. My ribbon is actually the white satin ribbon that I dyed perfect plum to match. I really like doing that.

OK, well that's it. I better get to cleaning. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend! Back tomorrow with my Off the Wall Craftiness/Waltzingmouse Sketch card. :)

Stamps: "hello" (Michael's); Polka Dot Greetings (My Favorite Things)
Card Stock: Kraft, Dusty Durango, So Saffron, Perfect Plum (stampin up); White (papertrey)
Ink: Dusty Durango, Perfect Plum, So Saffron (stampin up)
Extras: Polka Dot Greetings die (My Favorite Things); Satin ribbon (papertrey)
