Holiday Mojo..

Hello, friends! I just realized that we are less than 2 months away from Christmas! Ack! I am SO not ready. Every year, I say I am going to start early and create cards for everyone and every year I do not. Either I totally space and buy cards or I create just a few to send to "special" people. This yeah, though, since I have a blog I really have no excuse NOT to make my list of folks and create.

Today's card is the first of my Christmas creations. I have not decided yet whether or not I am gong to make 5 styles and then recreate those styles or do like I did one year and make a different design for each person. What do you guys do??

This card follows the Mojo Monday sketch for this week, seen here:

I chose square (big surprise, i'm sure..lol) and used some of my new stuff: My new Practicing Creativity Designs set " Retro Christmas" and my new Stampin Up dsp "Jolly Holiday". Love using new stuff...and getting more new stuff. Did you guys know there is a new Verve release this Friday?? Check out the Verve blog in my sidebar. Ok, sorry about the random thought...lol..back to the card. So, here it is:

It was lots of fun to make. I used my square lattice folder on the vanilla panel to give it a little life and randomly stamped the snowflakes in the Retro Christmas set on the other vanilla panel. The ribbon is tied with twine and then a button added over it. I like the way it kinda pulls the ribbon in and then lets it burst forth from the button.

Well, that's it from me today. Be SURE and come back tomorrow. I'm doing a mini blog hop with some of my blog buddies that you all know and love. *wink*

Stamps: Retro Christmas (Practicing Creativity Designs)
Card Stock: Kraft, Vanilla, black (papertrey); Jolly Holiday dsp (stampin up)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler (stampin up); Memento Black
Extras: Black rhinestones, grosgrain, and mat stack 4 (papertrey); Button, square lattice folder (stampin up)

Oh this is adorable! Love that polka dot tree and how you "underlined" the sentiment with rhinestones! Is that button wooden? Love it!
I don't send Christmas cards, so I'm no help, but if I did I'd pobably make one design and just keep on chuging it out until I was done. LOL!

Holiday mojo? You have everyday mojo! LOL.....seriously this is a great card using this sketch. Love that lattice embossing folder piece you added to your card...gives it so much dimension!

Wow, this is really pretty. I love the dots and the offset button. I just started my cards too. Hopefully I will get them done in time.
