Ah, Wednesday again. Seems like the weeks are passing by so quickly. I'll be glad when spring arrives. We've had a relatively mild winter, but the rebirth of everything is spring is so welcome at this point! This week's Color Throwdown colors and inspiration are brought to you by Joan! Take a looksie:
Aren't they lovely? The inspiration photo really took me in and reminded me of the Wanted by Cosmo Cricket paper that I have. I love the look of that bed and the dress forms are really neat. Here is the card I made:
In addition to being inspired by the bed, the little rosette on the dress form made me think of my Papertrey Loopsey-Daisy die. They're so much fun. Tonight was the first time I used them even though they've been sitting here for almost a month. All in all, I like the feel of the card. I used my woodgrain impression plate on the flower to give it some texture and coordinate with the woodgrain pattern on the patterned paper.
That's it for me today! Thank you so much for all of the notes and messages you have left for me and your prayers. This has been a better week...I suppose each week will be better than the last. I hope so anyway. Right now, Ava and I are looking forward to Comic Con in San Diego this summer. Tickets haven't gone on sale yet, but when they do we are ready!! We are such nerds...lol.
Thanks for dropping in! Be sure and check out what everyone else has done with these fab colors!
