Hey everyone! Well, as the title of my post implies, yours truly is the Guest Designer for the Color Throwdown in March! CAN.YOU.BELIEVE.IT?
When I got the email from Tammy, I about died. My favorite challenge blog wants me to be a Guest Designer? Wow..I could hardly believe it, but I am SO happy to be a part of the team for a little while. If you have never participated in the challenges over there, use this as my personal invitation for you to check it out and play along! They're SO much fun.
This week, LeAnne chose Not Quite Navy, Pink Pirouette, and Baja Breeze as the challenge colors.
Here is what I came up with:
I was going for a special wedding thank you card. The colors just feel like a wedding to me and I love the softness the Pink Pirouette has. I don't think I have used it before and it's just such a lovely shade of pink. Do you see that flower? That's one I picked up at Michael's and it has a ceramic-like look and feel...really cool.
Well, that's I have. Check out what the rest of the team has using these colors:
Stamps: Think Big Favorites #1, Turning A New Leaf (Papertrey)
Card Stock: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette, Greenhouse Gala dsp (SU); White, Vellum (Papertrey)
Ink: Baja Breeze, Versamark (SU)
Extras: Butterfly die, Clear EP (SU); Ribbon, Flower (Michael's); Medium Scallop Border Die (Papertrey)
