Mojo Jo Jo...

Gosh, do any of you remember the Powerpuff Girls? They had their nemesis Mojo Jo Jo...lol..I used to love that little guy. I know we're not supposed to root for the bad guys, but seriously..how can you not like this little guy:

Ok, well maybe it's just me. Anyway, today's card has nothing to do with the Powerpuff girls..or Monkeys. In fact, it's all about love..ahh, sweet love! :)

I decided to use the Mojo Monday (see that's where the whole mojo jojo reference came in..lol) sketch for this week and make a wedding card with my new Verve and Waltzingmouse stamps. This is my first Waltzingmouse stamp and I love the way it totally works with the nesties (labels 4). Just love it! The colors I thought worked well together and I think the lemon tart grosgrain works very well with the daffodil delight infused dsp from Stampin Up. Gosh...I used a ton of brands today, huh? ;)

Anywho, here is the sketch:

And here is my take:

I went with square quite honestly because I still cannot figure out how to make the round cards (a little help there anyone??). I love the way it turned out though! Ok, well that's it from me. This post got a little long. I'm a little long winded sometimes...lol. Have a great day!!

Stamps: Very Vintage Labels 4 (waltzingmouse); Love Story (Verve)
Card Stock: Smoky Shadow, white (papertrey); Greenhouse Gala dsp (Stampin up)
Ink: Basic Grey, Summer Sun (stampin up)
Extras:Lemon Tart grosgrain (papertrey)

I remember that twisted little monkey lol!!! LOVE your card Keva, it's really beautiful! To make round cards I use my round Nesties and my Cuttlebug. If you'd like detailed info feel free to email me at djaquay@yahoo.com :)

Keva your card is FABULOUS! I love the colors!! As for my round cards, I use my punch, just fold in half.. and leave a tiny bit on top to keep it joined.. you could always use the same idea and use a plate as your circle.. just draw the circle, and cut so a bit on top attaches (erase pencil mark and viola!) now I do use my cricut most of the time.. (if you have one of those they have a FUN cartridge that has some great card cuts!)
Sorry for the LONG comment! :)
Have a GREAT day!

Oh Keva! This is so elegant...love this color combination! I don't do circle cards either (the one I did recently however I just traced around a round tin and mounted that piece on a smaller squarish base kinda like an easel back) but I'm really liking the round ones. So much, I'm thinking of investing in all the round nesties! I don't have any of them! That is one gorgeous ribbon border!!
