Long time gone...

Wow...has it REALLY been 10 days since my last post? I knew life had been crazy, Sorry about that. These last two weeks have been REE - DIK - U - LUSS! I mean, just non stop reading and things at my house. Let me let you guys in on a little secret...I am NOT a good multitasker at home. At work, I can do it all day, but at home I can only do one thing at a time. I am an avid love love to read and the last couple of weeks I have gotten out of control with it. Everyday when I come home, I go to my little reading chaise with a glass or mug of hot or cold tea and have at it. I don't like putting books down, so when I start a book I finish it that same session. It's a sickness, I know, and it also makes my reading an expensive habit since I immediately need another book when I am done with one. Does anyone know of a better way for me to get books that I can keep an online club or something? My husband says I should get books at the Library, but I want my own books...just for me! I know this isn't a reading blog, but I do want to mention a book that I read yesterday that I just loved. It is called "Rooms" and it is by James Rubart. If you've read "The Shack" then you're on the right's that same type of book, but honestly I liked it a tad more (and I loved The Shack).

Ok, so on to the card. My mum always asks me for cards on the day she needs them. Usually an hour before she needs them, and I cannot create with pressure. So, I made this card for an upcoming wedding and when she asks me for a card, I'll have this little baby to give..ready to go! It's not my typical style of wedding card, but as I was creating it, this is what resulted. It's darker than what I would usually do, but I really like it. Ok, later peeps..

You were missed, Keva! I can relate to your reading "frenzy"--I love to read too and it competes daily with papercrafting time! :-) This is a great wedding card--I love the dress set off like that, and of course the Keva-tastic ribbon treatment! The colors look really nice!
