Birthday Boy!

Hello. Thanks for stopping in to visit! Today I have a card that I made for my little cousin, Luke. He turned 4 yesterday and had a fun little party that we attended for a while. With Ava being so ill, it's hard to get out anywhere for any length of time. I know I sound like a broken record, but if you guys could keep her in your prayers I would appreciate it. It's hard dealing with this unknown issue but it's made more difficult because hubby is deployed. I told a friend yesterday that if it wasn't for crafting, I'd be in a closet somewhere...really.

Anyhow, enough of the heavy. Here is the card I made for Luke:

I just love the bright colors for a little boy. Making this card also made me realize that I have absolutely no real "boy" type stamps..at least not for little boys. I need to at least have a train set or something! :)

This card fits in perfectly with the current Wee Memories challenge which was to make something party themed! Head over and check it out!

Hope you guys like it. Have a great day!

Stamps: Simply Circles (Papertrey)
Card Stock: Green Galore, Real Red (SU); Natural Ivory (Papertrey); MME patternend paper
Ink: Green Galore, Real Red, Night of Navy (SU)
Extras: Numbers die, Star Die, Linene impression plate, buuton, and Enchanted Evening ribbon (Papertrey)

Love how you carried over the patterned paper from the background to the 4. And the circle-stars are perfect. I think it's a great card for a little boy! Prayers for you, Ava, and your hubby!

Keva! I am so sorry that Ava is feeling sick! I have sick kids at home too and I know how hard it is, but being all alone has to be soooo much worse!! I'll say a prayer for you!

Your card is adorable! I LOVE all the color and the circles you used too!

Still sending healing vibes her way...
You are so good at combining colors and patterns. I need to work on that.
