The Gospel...

Hello everyone! Thanks for dropping in. I hope you're having a lovely weekend. I have pretty much done nothing but watch the Murder, She Wrote marathon all weekend. That sounds so sad, right? But no...I totally {heart} JB Fletcher! ;)

Anyway, today's card is for this week Color Throwdown challenge. Here are this week's colors:

Aren't they lovely? You know, I really had to keep myself from creating a baby boy card. That was the EXACT idea I had in my head from the moment I saw those colors. I am so glad I challenged myself and created something different. Like I mentioned last week, I can feel my style changing. Well, changing isn't really the right word. I guess I am just expanding and doing more than I would normally have done. It's so fun to not really know what you are going to create when you sit down, isn't it? I love that I am trying new things and looking for inspiration all around. Anywho, on to my card:

I also used the sketch from this week's fantastic Viva La Verve challenge week 2!
Here is this week's sketch by Verve Diva Amy Sheffer:

So, what do you think?  Isn't that sketch cool? It's one i'll certainly go to again. Aren't those papers just fantastic??? I am not one for botanicals, but these papers are just so so cool and fresh to me. I love them! There are also more of those Recollections flowers! I really should buy stock in that stuff because I know i'll be using it quite a bit in the future. The sentiment is a lovely one from the Out on a Limb sentiments from Papertrey. There are some seriously great sentiments in that set.

Well, that's it from me. I hope you enjoy your Sunday! Stay warm and take care! Laters...

So gorgeous! I love your 'changing style'. (And my gramps was a Lutheran minister, so I have a soft spot for Luther quotes :) )

Keva, congratulations on a shout out from The Color Throwdown! I think it's too funny that you thought 'baby boy' when you saw the colors. I was thinking something florally vintage but wound up with......a Baby Boy card!! =))
