Better..

Do you guys ever stop and think about the word 'better'? I dreamed about it last night (must have been the mangos! LOL) and as I was making this card I thought "Wouldn't it be nice if things would not just get better, but be the best in all possible ways?". If instead of "living" with Cancer, it would just be gone? Instead of making your marriage "work", you could REALLY be the couple you want to be? I don't know..I think these two snow days have given me way too much time to think. I better get back to work lest I become the next Carl Jung...lol.

On to my card. I am using this week's fab Mojo Monday sketch, seen here:

I decided to make a more gender neutral card. Anytime I set out to make one of these I always end up adding a bit too much "girly" to it. I think this time, though, it came out pretty good. What do you think?

Here is a close up of the card so you can see the shine the patterned paper brings to it.

Can you see it? I really love this paper!

Ok, well that's it from me. I hope you guys are staying warm wherever you are. Thank you for stopping by! Laters...

Oh, I LOOOVE this Keva! So elegant! I did this sketch too but have to take pictures yet. I love your interpretation though, makes me want to do another one with the sketch!! :)

That shiny paper rocks and you're right on target with the amount of embellishment.
I know what you mean about "better". The word is often used to give us hope but sometimes I don't want hope, I want a result!

Yes, that is some amazing metallic PP! You did a great job on the sketch - I love challenging myself to make more masculine cards too. Sometimes things get better and sometimes they don't, but they always work out in just the perfect way that's needed to help us grow. Just my 2¢ :)

I have lots to say about your interesting thought Keva, but I won't post them hear for the world to see! lol
Now this card is INCREDIBLE! I cannot believe how that PP rocks! And I'm inspired to try this sketch now, because of you girly. Beautiful, even if it is masculine.
