Baby Boy..

Hello! Well, we have another snow day in Nashville. I heard someone on the radio yesterday call it Snowpocalypse...LOL! I thought that was genius. ;)

So, the one good thing about staying home is that I get to catch up with my DVR stuff. Stamping has taken over and I now have to DVR the shows that I normally get to watch live. Its a sacrifice, but I am willing to do it. Ha! So, this morning I caught up on Human Target, The Big Bang Theory, and Criminal Minds. CM is my absolute favorite show. I just love Matthew Gray Gubler..so so much....

Ahem, anyway..back to crafting. {blush}

Today's card is made using this week's Curtain Call Color Challenge. Ok, here is a tidbit of honesty. I had very little of the newer SU colors in paper or ink, so when I saw this challenge I knew that I simply HAD to buy it. So, the reason this is so late in getting posted is because I had to wait for my SU order. heehee...I just could not bear to play along another week not using the "right" colors. It was driving me insane. So, now I have card stock...next up the newer inks!

Gosh, I am SO talkative and random today. Anyway, so here are Stacey's colors for this week:

I also used the last of this month's Verve sketches, seen here:

Check out the Verve forum for more info on all of the sketches for this month!

Ok, so finally here is the fun little baby boy card that I made:

Isn't it just the funnest?!? And yes, I know "funnest" is not a word..lol. I had such a great time making this card. I hope some folks start having babies soon cause I am building up a stash of baby cards with no recipients in mind. :)

Ok, well that's it for me. I guess it's time to take off the pj's and saunter out to the mailbox to see what goodies might await. Thanks for stopping by. Laters!

Muy funnest! It's so cool how you stamped the circles on the blue, and fit the boats and hearts in the scallops! Such a cute card!

Keva, I love how those images fit in the scallops! No babies here either, sorry! But what an adorable card!

As for the snow, we had another snow day yesterday too (had 8-9 inches). When we were in Memphis last weekend, a cab driver we had said that this was more snow than they've seen in 10 years there. I'm tired of snow already and we're to get another 5 or so tomorrow! :(

I was kinda quickly scrolling through on my phone, and admittedly not reading, and I had an "OMG what's Reed doing on Keva's blog!" moment so I had to go back and read it. Criminal minds is a fav of mine as well. Love the card too!

Oh Keva, this is such a fun card and I like the bright colours for a baby card too.

Love the sailboats in the scallops. Great idea! A very colorful, fun card. And, I enjoyed your "randomness". I totally get it -- snow days can do that to the best of us! :)

You are having fun with the sailboats! They are just darling. And... I know how you feel about that itch that comes from doing a challenge when you don't have JUST the right paper, etc. :) You can only handle it for so long before you have to cave in!

All these bright colors had me stumped - you worked it! I love Text Objects - one of my all-time favorite Verve sets!

Eeek! I thought I was the only one with a crush on Matthew Gray Gubler! LOL! I LOVE Criminal Minds and he is my favorite character, of course. So funny to see his face on your blog!

Oh yes, and your card is super cute, too! I've had my eye on this Verve set and love the sentiments. I love the polka dots you added, they make me think of clouds. Adorable!
